RURAL PROPERTY

Rural property investment includes all property that is used for farming purposes under management; and land leased out, syndicated or in a business partnership to conduct a range of farming activities from.

 

Ideally lease contracts are signed for a number of seasons with in-built market rent increases or a share in land production and with lease rights of renewal.

 

Common types of rural property investments include: dairy farms; sheep, beef and cattle farms; deer farms; poultry and broiler farms; pork/pig farms; cropping farms; grazing land; vineyards; fruit orchards; market garden land; etc.

SYNDICATION

Syndicated investments appeal to the usually hands-off, low-risk investor who wants to obtain a part stake or part ownership in a bigger investment enterprise with a group of other investors. Common syndicated investments include land-banking for future commercial or residential land developments, developing larger scale commercial properties such as large warehouses, manufacturing plants, retail shopping malls, office blocks, apartment complexes, retirement villages, bareland to vineyards or other value-added enterprises such as forestry as well as with larger scale dairy farm developments.
